Claesson Koivisto Rune

The Swedish architecture studio Claesson Koivisto Rune was founded in 1995 by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto, and Ola Rune. Today, it is an internationally renowned practice, working with both architecture and design, with clients in all corners of the world.

Over the years, the studio has been honoured with a wide range of international awards and recognitions, from multiple Red Dot Design Awards – Best of the Best to accolades from Elle Decor and Elle Deco Japan, as well as awards for projects such as the K5 Hotel in Tokyo. They were the first Swedish firm to exhibit in the international section of the Venice Architecture Biennale and have received some of the highest distinctions in Scandinavian design and architecture.

Claesson Koivisto Rune has collaborated with Wastberg+ on a number of innovative lighting products, including the Cone Extra Small pendant, bringing their signature balance of simplicity, functionality, and refined form to modern lighting design.
