Designed by Wonder Group, GP&Me reimagines the traditional medical practice through a warm, residential-inspired interior that prioritises wellbeing. Every material, finish and lighting element is carefully considered to create a calm and welcoming environment for both patients and staff.

Lighting plays a fundamental role in shaping this experience.

Throughout the waiting rooms and reception, the Orb Mini Sconce by Marz Design provides a soft, architectural layer of light that enhances the natural material palette while contributing to the relaxed atmosphere.

Complementing the wall lighting, the w241 Faro and w203 Ilumina by Wästberg+ introduce an additional layer of warmth and intimacy, reinforcing the residential character of the space.

Rather than feeling clinical, GP&Me offers an environment that is familiar, comforting and thoughtfully resolved. The carefully layered lighting scheme supports the architecture without dominating it, demonstrating how considered lighting can positively influence the way people experience healthcare spaces.

GP&Me was recognised at the 2026 NZ Interior Awards, with Wonder Group receiving the Healthcare & Wellness category award for the project.
