Coco Reynolds
As an Industrial Designer with experience across a range of design-related fields, Coco Reynolds established Marz Designs in Sydney in 2010, working in furniture, lighting and interiors. In 2019, she moved her studio to its current location in Byron Bay.
Coco’s designs reflect her passion for working with natural materials and for combining craft practice with the industrial process. Inspired by the design movements of the 50s and 60s, Coco interprets these movements in a contemporary way, favouring simple and clean silhouettes to create timeless and beautiful hand-crafted pieces.
Marz Designs’ light fixtures feature a minimal and pared-back aesthetic and are assembled by hand in Byron Bay. Fixtures are made from natural materials such as wood, metal, ceramics and glass. Many of these hand-crafted components are created using traditional techniques and are sourced from local Australian artisans. Marz Designs’ lighting collection includes a range of wall lights, ceiling lights, pendants and table lamps perfect for interior applications.
Lighting sets the mood and atmosphere of any environment. Marz Designs’ light fixtures create an inviting ambience, whilst their original designs appear as decorative elements within a space whether the light is turned on or off.
