For over 30 years Italian lighting manufacturer Prandina have developed a very distinct decorative style which continues to be renewed with the introduction of innovative technologies and fresh new approaches to the use of light.

Founded in 1982 by artist and industrial designer Sergio Prandina, the company transmits an innate artistic creativity in the lighting design field. Their creative philosophy focuses on simplicity, formal precision, functionality and lasting quality. Specialising in the traditional art form of blowing glass, each glass product is a masterpiece in its own right, manufactured by hand with attention to every detail.

Prandina’s manifesto ‘Lighting Stories’ focuses on the idea that when a Prandina product is purchased, it is a purchase made for life. Launched at Milan Euroluce 2019, Prandina’s new collections Sino and Diver stay true to their core values of simplicity, formal precision, functionality and lasting quality. Their materiality reflects Prandina’s history and exceptional expertise with blown glass while the integration of new LED technology has allowed for more minimal, refined designs where the light source itself becomes a part of the form. From the beginning Prandina has collaborated with leading industrial designers and creatives, these collaborations continue with a new generation of young designers making their mark on the world.

A modern take on a classic sees Sino transform the traditional beside lamp into a refined, timeless fixture. Designed by Filippo Mambretti for Prandina, Sino’s minimal structure, with its cleverly integrated LED light source and clear glass shade becomes one with its surrounds, complementing any interior setting whether modern or traditional. Sino is available in a table and wall version with a clear crystal glass shade and structure in matt white, gold or black chrome finish.

Designed by Serge and Robert Cornelissen for Prandina, the Diver collection is a complete range of table, wall, ceiling and suspension lamps. With a clear crystal shade and opal glass diffuser, Diver is a testament to Prandina’s exceptional ability to manufacture unique forms in blown glass. Available in multiple sizes and finishes, Diver is a beautiful and delicate addition to any interior space.
